1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide to us, including your name, phone number, email address when supplied, service address or ZIP code, appointment preferences, TV sizes, wall and mounting details, wire-treatment choices, add-ons, promo codes, call notes, and other information needed to quote or perform the work.
If you become a customer, we may also maintain your order status, quoted and final charges, discounts, payment status, communications, technician assignment, completion notes, and installation photographs. We do not ask for payment-card information through the website estimate form.
Our website may also receive basic technical and referral information, such as device and browser information, IP address, referring website, page URLs, and campaign parameters included in the link you used. We use the Meta Pixel and the Google tag for Google Ads measurement. These tools may use cookies or similar identifiers and send page-view, device, referral, and online activity information to Meta and Google to measure advertising performance.
2. How we use information
- Prepare and confirm estimates, appointments, and service details.
- Call or email you about the request you submitted, and text you when you have opted in.
- Assign and coordinate qualified technicians or subcontractors.
- Process and document orders, payments, warranties, and customer support.
- Maintain business, accounting, safety, fraud-prevention, and legal records.
- Understand which marketing source brought a customer to us and improve our services.
- Measure website visits and the performance of advertising campaigns.
3. When information is disclosed
We disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate the business. This may include authorized employees and call operators, the subcontractor assigned to your job, and providers that support our hosting, customer-management, communications, scheduling, payment, accounting, advertising measurement, or security systems. Our workflow may use services including Google, Firebase, Telegram, Meta, and other business tools.
Assigned technicians receive the customer, location, appointment, and scope information needed to perform the job. They are not authorized to use it for unrelated purposes. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, insurers, authorities, or another business in connection with a legal obligation, claim, safety issue, or business transfer.
We do not sell customer contact details or service-order information. Meta and Google may use information received through their advertising tools according to their own terms and privacy policies. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Depending on applicable law, the disclosure of online activity and identifiers through advertising tools may be treated as sharing for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent records are used only to administer the messaging service and are not included in advertising data. Service providers may process mobile information solely as needed to operate our communications and provide the services you request.
4. Calls and text messages
Submitting a callback request authorizes Mount TV Today to call you about that request. SMS consent is separate and optional: select the unchecked SMS-consent checkbox on the estimate form if you want text messages about your estimate, appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates. Leaving it unchecked does not prevent you from requesting a callback or purchasing services.
Messaging frequency varies with your request and appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. You may also contact hello@mounttvtoday.com or call (315) 217-5080. Consent covers service-related texts from Mount TV Today, not unrelated marketing. We record your consent choice, the wording shown, its version, the source page, and the time your request was received.
5. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, support warranty claims, maintain financial and operational records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can vary by record type.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the information we handle, including role-based access to internal records. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
6. Your privacy choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we maintain about you, or ask how it has been used or disclosed. Certain records may be retained where required or permitted for completed transactions, warranties, security, accounting, disputes, or legal compliance.
Residents of California and other states may have additional rights where applicable, including rights to know, correct, delete, opt out of certain advertising-related disclosures, or receive information without discriminatory treatment. You can manage advertising choices through Meta's ad preferences, Google's My Ad Center, and supported browser privacy controls. You may also send a privacy or opt-out request to hello@mounttvtoday.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
7. Children
Our services are intended for adults arranging home or business installation work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services and systems change. The effective date at the top will show when the current version took effect. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
